AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN AMENDED ZONING MAP THAT SUPERSEDES AND
REPLACES THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF CALDWELL
ON MARCH 7, 2022.
WHEREAS, The City of Caldwell is responsibly updating all codes and ordinances; and
WIffiREAS, The City of Caldwell has identified the properties in this ordinance as appropriate for
keeping zoning information current for all citizens and property owners; and
WHEREAS, The City of Caldwell has determined that it is in the best interests of the City to update its
zoning map; and
WHEREAS, The City has held a public hearing on the proposed changes on March 75 20225 and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed all evidence and testimony submitted at the City of
Caldwell hearings.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF CALDWELL ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on March 7, 2022
for Case No. OA .21-07 adoption of an amended zoning map as adopted by City Council on September 8,
2020. At said hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission forwarded their recommendation onward to
the Mayor and City Council that the City adopt the amended zoning map, and that the map include the
Following statement. This is to certify that this amended zoning map supersedes and replaces the official
zoning map adopted by the City of Caldwell by Ordinance No. 3292 on September 8, 2020."
Section 2. That the amended zoning map includes all rezones, annexations, and de -annexations that
occurred between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021. Said rezones, annexations, and de -
annexations received City Council approval, through signed orders of decision, at respective hearings
held between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fi•om and after its passage, approval, and
publication, according to law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, this 7th day of March,
2022.
