ORDINANCE NO. 3335
AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL, AMENDING
CHAPTER 09, ARTICLE 07, SECTION 09-07-07, OF THE CALDWELL CITY CODE,
PERTAINING TO MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS, TO ALLOW CHARGES FOR
ANNUAL PARKING LEASES TO BE SET BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF,
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell,County of Canyon,
State of Idaho:
Section L That Chapter 9, Article 7, Section 9-7-7, of the Caldwell City Code,
pertaining to municipal parking lots, and, specifically, with respect to the annual charges for
parking leases, be amended as follows:
09-07-07: MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS:
All Municipal parking lots financed and operated by the City within
the City limits shall be under the control of the Caldwell City
Council.
(2) Parking Leases: The City may issue annual parking
leases. The annual lease grants parking privileges for a particular
parking space in a specific Municipal parking lot. The charges for
such annual parking lease shall be as set by resolution of the city_

($96 nm for a twelve (l 2) .„ n, h period. Only vehicles displaying a
parking permit for that particular parking space may park in a leased
space. Violators may be cited.

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval, and publication, according to law.

Section 3. rhis ordinance is hereby declared to be severable. If' any, portion of this
ordinance is declared invalid by a, court of competentjurisdiction, the rearaining provisions shall
contime in full f6rce and effect and shall be read to,carry out the purposes of the ordinance before
the declaration of partial invalidity.
Section 4. All ordinances., resolutions, orders and parts thereof in conflict herewith
arc repealed.

resolutions, nand orders.
Ordinarice 'No. 3335 provides an effective date, which shall be on the l3th day of April, 2021. Ordinance
