AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THAT CERTAIN LAND LAYS CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,COUNTY OF CANYON,STATE OF IDAHO,AND THAT
SAID LANDS SHOULD BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO,AS PART OF
THE R-1 (LOW-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)ZONING DISTRICT;AND DECLARING SAID LAND
BY PROPER LEGAL DESCRIPTION AS DESCRIBED BELOW TO BE A PART OF DIE CITY OF
CALDWELL,CANYON COUNTY,IDAHO;REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,RESOLUTIONS,
ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND DIRECTING THE CITY
ENGINEER AND COM IUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR TO ADD SAID PROPERTY TO
THE OFFICIAL MAPS OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,IDAHO;AND DIRECTING THE CLERK
OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL TO FILE A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE ORDINANCE AND MAP
OF THE AREA TO BE ANNEXED WITH CANYON COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO AND THE
IDAHO STATE TAX COLS ISSION,PURSUANT TO IDAHO CODE,SECTION 63-2219.
BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE MAYOR AND 1'11E COUNCIL OF "THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
COUNTY OF CANYON,STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following described land is contiguous to the City of Caldwell, Idaho and that the
applicant has requested that said following described land should be annexed to the City of Caldwell,Idaho:
Tracts 20, 21 and 22 of Wood's Acreage, and all of that portion of First Street lying between Tracts 20 and
21,of Wood's Acreage,according to the official plat thereof filed in Book 1 of Plats at Page 29,records of
Canyon County,Idaho.
Section 2. That the above-described real property be, and the same is hereby annexed and made a part of the
R-1 zoning district of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho, and the official zoning map is hereby
amended accordingly.
Section 3. That the City Engineer and the Community Development Director are hereby directed to alter all
use and area maps as well as the official zoning maps, and all official maps depicting the boundaries of the
City of Caldwell in accordance with this ordinance.
Section 4. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,
rescinded and annulled.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and in effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, according to law.
Section 6. The Clerk of the City of Caldwell shall, within 10 days following the effective date of this
ordinance, duly file a certified copy of this ordinance and a map prepared in a draftsman manner plainly and

clearly designating the boundaries of the City of Caldwell, including the land herein annexed, with the
following officials of the County of Canyon, State of Idaho, to-wit: the Recorder, Auditor, Treasurer and

Assessor and shall also file simultaneously a certified copy of this ordinance with the State Tax Commission
of the State of Idaho, all in compliance with Idaho Code §63-2219.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 2270
REGARDING ANNEXATIONAND ZONE DESIGNATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
This ordinance provides for annexation of certain property into the City of Caldwell as an R-1 (Low-Density
Residential) zone. Said property abuts a portion of the eastern boundary of Dorman Avenue and the west side of a
portion of Manchester Park Subdivision. The property annexed is legally described as "Tracts 20, 21 and 22 and
that portion of First Street lying between Tracts 20 and 21 of Wood's Acreage, according to the official plat thereof
filed in Book 1 at Page 29, records of Canyon County, Idaho." The Ordinance includes a provision for the City
Engineer and Community Development Director to amend the official maps of the City by designating the above-
described property as R-1. Ordinance No. 2270 provides an effective date, which shall be when published in
the Idaho Press Tribune on 8th day of February, 1999.
Ordinance No. 2270 was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on the 1st day of February,

The Mayor and City Council approve the foregoing summary for publication pursuant to Idaho Code 50-
901A this 1st day of February, 1999.
