That the following described land is contiguous to the City of Caldwell, Idaho and that the applicant has requested that said following described land should be annexed to the City of Caldwell,Idaho: Tracts 20, 21 and 22 of Wood's Acreage, and all of that portion of First Street lying between Tracts 20 and 21,of Wood's Acreage,according to the official plat thereof filed in Book 1 of Plats at Page 29,records of Canyon County,Idaho. Section 2. That the above-described real property be, and the same is hereby annexed and made a part of the R-1 zoning district of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho, and the official zoning map is hereby amended accordingly. Section 3. That the City Engineer and the Community Development Director are hereby directed to alter all use and area maps as well as the official zoning maps, and all official maps depicting the boundaries of the City of Caldwell in accordance with this ordinance. Section 4. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled. Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and in effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law. Section 6. The Clerk of the City of Caldwell shall, within 10 days following the effective date of this ordinance, duly file a certified copy of this ordinance and a map prepared in a draftsman manner plainly and • clearly designating the boundaries of the City of Caldwell, including the land herein annexed, with the following officials of the County of Canyon, State of Idaho, to-wit: the Recorder, Auditor, Treasurer and • Assessor and shall also file simultaneously a certified copy of this ordinance with the State Tax Commission of the State of Idaho, all in compliance with Idaho Code §63-2219. ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO.2270 SCALE: 1" = 600' I DATE: 05 FEB 99 DRAWN: DCM ACAD FILE: A-2270 SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2270 ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2270 REGARDING ANNEXATIONAND ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY This ordinance provides for annexation of certain property into the City of Caldwell as an R-1 (Low-Density Residential) zone. Said property abuts a portion of the eastern boundary of Dorman Avenue and the west side of a portion of Manchester Park Subdivision. The property annexed is legally described as "Tracts 20, 21 and 22 and that portion of First Street lying between Tracts 20 and 21 of Wood's Acreage, according to the official plat thereof filed in Book 1 at Page 29, records of Canyon County, Idaho." The Ordinance includes a provision for the City Engineer and Community Development Director to amend the official maps of the City by designating the above- described property as R-1. Ordinance No. 2270 provides an effective date, which shall be when published in the Idaho Press Tribune on 8th day of February, 1999. Ordinance No. 2270 was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor on the 1st day of February, 1999.
