Section 2. The property is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Linden Street and KCID Road. The parcel is contiguous to the City of Caldwell, Idaho and the applicant has requested that said following described property should be annexed into the City of Caldwell as an M-1 (Light Industrial) zone: All of Lots One (1) and Two (2) and the East 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 31, T4N, R2W, Boise Meridian, in Canyon County. EXCEPTING all that part of said land lying south and east of the Caldwell Highline Canal, as now located. Also EXCEPTING a parcel of Land in the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 31, Township 4 North, Range 2 West, Boise Meridian, described as follows, to-wit: COMMENCING at the Northwest Corner of Section 31, Township 4 North, Range 2 West, Boise Meridian; thence South 0°09'31" East 2,643.93 feet along the Westerly boundary of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 31 to the Southwest Corner of said Northwest Quarter, the said Westerly boundary is also the centerline of KCID Road, according to the plans thereof; thence North 89°43'11" East 25.00 feet along the Southerly boundary of said Northwest Quarter to a point in the Easterly Right-of-Way boundary of said KCID Road, which point is the TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING; thence North 0°09'31" West 645.28 feet along said Easterly Right-of- Way boundary of KCID Road to a point; thence South 44°54'48" East 906.55 feet to a point in the Southerly boundary of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 89°43'11" West 638.06 feet along said Southerly boundary of said Northwest Quarter to the TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING. The Clerk of the City of Caldwell, Idaho shall, within 10 days following the effective date of this ordinance, duly file a certified copy of this ordinance and a map prepared in a draftsman-like manner plainly and clearly designating the boundaries of the City of Caldwell, including the land herein annexed, with the following officials of the County of Canyon, State of Idaho, to-wit: the Recorder, Auditor, Treasurer and Assessor and shall file simultaneously a certified copy of this ordinance with the State Tax Commission of the State of Idaho, all in compliance with Idaho Code 63-2219.
