A RESOLUTION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE OWNER-CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH
KELLER ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR THE DESIGN OF THE NORTH RANCH AREA
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,800.00 AND ADDING ONE CALENDAR
DAY TO THE PROJECT COMPLETION SCHEDULE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE URBAN
RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO:

Section 1: Agency hereby authorizes its Chairman to execute Amendment No. 1 to the
Owner-Consultant Agreement as set forth in full.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval

SUMMARYSTATEMENT.•
Due to plan changes for the North Ranch Area Improvements, Keller Associates, Inc. has submitted an
amendment to the original contract in the amount of$3,800.00,which will increase the total contract amount
from $110,500.00 to $114,300.00, and will add one calendar day to the project completion schedule. This
contract amendment will cover the re-work needed for the change to Smeed Parkway from a 3-lane to a 5-
lane roadway between Hwy 20-26 & Mueller Lane and the elimination of right turn lanes at the Mueller
Lane intersections with Road East and Road West. This re-work will include new models, profiles,
templates, and assemblies in those locations.

Nature ofAmendment:
During the 95%Design Review meeting,it was requested that the design be changed on Smeed Pkwy(increase
Width from a 3-lane to o Vane cross section)and at the Muller Drive intersections with Road East and Road West
(eliminate right-turn lanes)—things that had not been anticipated The changes will require a signfficant amount
of re-work to the CAD models,profiles,templates,and assemblies.
Description of Modifications:
Keller Associates has estimated the above changes will require an additional 24 hours of Designer time and 8 hours
of Project Engineer time.
Compensation Summary
Increase the lump-sum contract amount by$3,800.00. The total contract amount is changed from$110,500.00 to
$114,300.00
Schedule:
Add one(1)calendar day to the project completion schedule. The submittal of 100%Design is changed from
August 25,2020 to August 26,2020,
All provisions of the Agreement not modified by this or previous amendments remain in effect. In witness thereof,
the parties hereto have executed or caused to be executed by their duly authorized officials this Amendment to
the Agreement on the respective dates indicated below.
