Summary of Meeting
Jerome Mapp stated this is a work session to give members a background on the comprehensive plan and answer any questions they may have.
Law doesn’t say how to write a comp plan it only says to do it.
Two chapters have been added; Agriculture and Airport Facilities.
Chapter 12 is City Center, Chapter 13 College of Idaho and Chapter 18 is Tourism.
Jarom and the commission discussed what Area of Impact means.
Jerome explained the process.
Community workshop in May
PZ workshop June
PZ Commission in August
City Council workshop in September and then follow with a hearing date.
Committee members would like to have another workshop.
