SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER COMMISSION
QUARTERLY MEETING MINUTES
January 17, 2019 * 1:00 PM
Caldwell Senior Center * 1009 Everett, Caldwell, Idaho
Commission Members Present: Donna Crockett,Julie Warwick, Russell Weihe, Gerald Shea
and Dean Pratt
Commission Members Absent: Mike Pollard (City Council Rep)
1. Donna Crockett called the meeting to order. Since this is the first meeting of the
commission, there are no previous minutes to review.
2. Election of Officers
A motion to appoint Donna Crockett as Commission Chair and Julie Warwick as
Commission Secretary was made by Weihe and seconded by Pratt. Motion passed.
3. Repair/Maintenance of Building
Discussion was held regarding delineation of responsibilities for repair and maintenance
of the senior center building. The consensus was that we needed input from the city as
to how this works. Carol Mitchell will be invited to the next meeting.
4. Current Repairs and/or Maintenance Needed
It was noted that there was a toilet seat in the women's restroom that needed to be
replaced. There is a leaky faucet in the kitchen. The parking lot needs to be restriped
once the weather clears up.
5. Special Meeting
There was a motion made by Warwick and seconded by Weihe to have a special
meeting on January 31, 2019 at 9:00 am so that these issues could be addressed prior to
the next scheduled meeting in April. Motion Passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:40 pm. Next meeting will be a special meeting on January 31,
2019.
