BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Chairman and Members of the Urban Renewal Agency of
the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that the Chairman of said commission is hereby authorized to sign
the Corporate Warranty Deed granting a parcel of land to be dedicated as right-of-way for Smeed
Parkway. Said parcel of land being located on the east side of Smeed Parkway, south of Fresca
Mexican Foods.
PASSED BY THE COMMISSION of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho,this 1 3th day of August, 2018.

RE: Corporate Warranty Deed from the Urban Renewal Agency to the City of Caldwell

RE: Approve a Corporate Warranty Deed from the Urban Renewal Agency to the City of
Caldwell.
After the re-alignment of Smeed Parkway south of the Sky Ranch area, the Urban Renewal
Agency had a Record of Survey completed showing the remaining ground owned by the Agency
split into 5 parcels. As a result, there is a small piece of ground that is needed as right-of-way for
Smeed Parkway located just south of the Fresca development and immediately west of and
adjacent to Parcel E (as shown on said Record of Survey). The intent of the attached deed is to
dedicate this parcel to the City of Caldwell as right-of-way for Smeed Parkway.
The following is attached:
1. Corporate Warranty Deed from the Urban Renewal Agency to the City of Caldwell
2. Record of Survey
Request: Authorize Chairman Hopper to sign the Corporate Warranty Deed granting that certain
parcel described above to the City of Caldwell as right-of-way for Smeed Parkway.

based on a Record of Survey recorded in Canyon County, Idaho as Instrument No.
2018002284, and is more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the S 'A Corner of Section 25; thence North 00°40'40"East a distance of
1324.92 feet along the west line of the SW 'Aa SE 'Aa of said Section 25 to the CS 1/16 Corner
of said Section 25; thence North 89°36'12" East a distance of 80.00 feet along the south line
