(REVIEW OF FEBRUARY SESSIONS) Discussion was held concerning the attendance and response to the classes on February 6, 2018 & February 13, 2018 as well as the Financial Fun Day on February 24, 2018. Discussion was held concerning the ability to gain a larger attendance at the classes. It was noted that approximately 70 registered for the session in May 2017 at the CSD but since the classes were not held until February 2018,the attendance was one three families. Ideas: • Possibly move the location of the classes to a more centralized location? • Possibly partner with the YMCA regarding the use of their conference room (capacity of 20-25) for the classes? • Could the YMCA provide childcare for the participants? • Pizza/water/fruit could be provided to the participants and their children between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. • Could the program be expanded to include students K-5? • Could the program be expanded to include CSD, VSD, charter schools located in Caldwell, and homeschool parents living in the Caldwell? It was determined that Carol and Debbie would meet with the Mayor about expanding the program and with the YMCA leadership about a possible partnership.
