CALDWELL CITY OF
AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL, TERMINATING
THE APPOINTMENT OF THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL AS THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, AND APPOINTING A NEW BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF IDAHO CODE § 50-2006(b)(3);
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 2017; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS
AND PARTS THEREOF,IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, County of
Canyon, State of Idaho:
Section 1. The appointment of the Caldwell City Council as the appointed and
designated Board of Commissioners of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Caldwell is
hereby TERMINATED.
Section 2. The following persons, less than a majority of which are members of the
Caldwell City Council, are hereby appointed as the Board of Commissioners of the Urban
Renewal Agency of the City of Caldwell, each of whom shall have full voting rights in all
matters coming before the agency,whose terms shall expire as indicated below:

serve as a member of the Caldwell
City Council,if sooner
(d) Julie Warwick July 1, 2019
(e) Rob Hopper July 1, 2020
(Caldwell City Council member) or, upon the date he/she ceases to
serve as a member of the Caldwell
City Council,if sooner
(f) Jim Porter July 1, 2020

Section 3: This ordinance is enacted pursuant to the provisions of Idaho Code § 50-
2006(b).
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 2017.
Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be severable. If any portion of this
ordinance is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall
continue in full force and effect and shall be read to carry out the purposes of the ordinance
before the declaration of partial invalidity.
Section 6. All ordinances, resolutions, orders and parts thereof in conflict herewith
are repealed.
