MINUTES
CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL
February 24,2017
12:00 p.m.
Mayor Nancolas called the meeting to order at 12:00 pm.
Roll was called by the City Clerk. Present: Hopper (via phone), Callsen, Pollard, Stadick, and Allgood.
Absent: Ozuna.
(ADDITIONS OR DELETION TO THE AGENDA)
MOVED by Callsen, SECONDED by Stadick to amend the agenda by adding an item to read: "Consider
request for the destruction of semi permanent records by the Building Department."
MOTION CARRIED
(CONSIDER RESOLUTION NO. 40-17 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE PHASE I
(PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES) CMGC CONTRACT WITH McALVAIN CONSTRUCTION FOR
PRECONSTRUCTION SERVICES THROUGH DESIGN COMPLETION AND BIDDING OF THE
INDIAN CREEK PLAZA PROJECT)
Mark Hilty, City Attorney at 1303 — 12"' Avenue Road, Nampa, provided the staff report and outlined the
contents of the proposed contract with McAlvain Construction. Discussion followed.
The Mayor read the resolution by title only:
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL TO
APPROVE THAT CERTAIN "STANDARD AGREEMENT AND GENERAL CONDITIONS BETWEEN
OWNER AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGER" FOR PRECONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION
MANAGER/GENERAL CONTRACTORS (CMGCS) SERVICES RELATING TO THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE INDIAN CREEK PLAZA IN THE AMOUNT OF $64,463 AND TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE THE SAME A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED
HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF AS IF SET FORTH IN FULL
MOVED by Pollard,SECONDED by Allgood to approve Resolution No.40-17 as presented.
Roll call vote: Those voting yes: Pollard, Stadick, Allgood, Hopper, and Callsen. Those voting no: none.
Absent and/or not voting: Ozuna.

BUILDING DEPARTMENT) [ADDED]
MOVED by Stadick, SECONDED by Callsen to approve the request for the destruction of semi-permanent
records from the Building Department.
