The Engineering Department has reviewed the application for the above referenced case and
provides the following comment:
1. The City will charge connection fees for connecting the security trailer to City water
and sewer.
The Engineering Department has no comments on the proposed text amendment to the
zoning ordinance.

The following cases are scheduled before the Planning and Zoning Commission on July
24. Would you please review the same and offer your written comment to me no later than
July 14?
A request by Greg Johnson to hear concurrently Case Nos. SUP-19-97 and VAR-05-97,
for approval of a special use permit to develop an 80-lot mobile home park on
approximately 19.39 acres located in the M-1 zone, and for approval of variances from the
requirement of two accesses to a public street, and the public street right-of-way width of
56 feet, as noted under Section 10-05-04, subsection 6, Access to a Public Street. The
site is located on the south side of Indian Creek, and between the northeast side of the
Union Pacific Railroad and the southwestern side of Chicago Street, and is described as
a portion of the NE 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 26, Township 4 North, Range 3 W.B.M.
A request by Randy Couch to hear concurrently Case Nos. OA-08-97 and SUP-18-97, for
approval of an amendment to the text of Zoning Ordinance No. 1451, Table 1, Land Use
Schedule, C-3 zone, by adding "Security Guard Dwelling Unit" to the list of special uses,
and a special use permit to provide an on-site security guard dwelling at an existing car
wash located at 2800 E. Cleveland Boulevard.
