Herein after called daycare. Owners & operators of daycare will have in possession all applicable state licenses prior to conducting business. Day Care will provide off street parking of one space for every eight - (8) children maximum enrollment. Daycare will be licensed to care for up to twelve (12) children & provide three (3) public parking spaces (see map). Also daycare will provide one (1) parking space per employee which at projected starting date will employ two (2) staff members total (see employee parking area on map). Daycare has an area on-site sufficient for drop off/pick-up of children in rear of facility with sidewalk from back door to parking area. The means of ingress & egress to the site can be reached through public alleyway adjoining 12t & 13th St. Daycare will not in anyway be altering the structure of the residential building or change the exterior residential character or the building. Day Care will be providing service to a maximum of twelve children. Day Care will have installed a six-foot high solid fence, and will not allow any outdoor activities before 7:30AM or 1/2hour after sunset. Day Care will meet the requirements of thirty-five (35) square feet of net indoor floor area per child .The indoor square footage of the facility is (1458) square feet. Daycare will meet the requirement of seventy (70) square feet of onsite outside play area per child. The square footage of the outdoor play area is (2052) square feet. The outside play area will be enclosed by six foot (6) high fence .The fence will be a solid sight-obstructing fence constructed of substantial, rigid material without a pattern of holes, cavities, breaks, or openings greater than one (1) inch width or diameter. Daycare will not place play equipment or play structures in the front yard or within ten feet (10) of a side or a rear lot line. Day Care will comply with all accessibility requirements outlined in the Americans with disabilities act by removing barriers when it is readily available to do so. Day Care will provide childcare services for children ages newborn to twelve (12) years of age, at a maximum of twelve (12) children. Daycare will be open Monday through Friday 7:AM to 6:00PM providing two (2) meals and (2-3) snacks per day. Day Care will provide sufficient indoor and outdoor toys, play equipment, and other entertaining items. Day Care will also provide age appropriate educational instruction. Day Care will also provide emotional support in a loving environment. Having sufficient childcare services at a quality level is an important need in any community .It provides parents the peace of mind that their children are well taken care of while they provide an income for their family. The only negative impact we are able to foresee, at this time, is a slight increase in the noise level during some daylight hours. If there are any questions or concerns we will be happy to help.
