RE: Cases for Public Hearing
The following cases are scheduled to be heard before the Planning and Zoning Commission on June
11, 1998:
Case No. SUP-33-98 (Cutting Edge), a request by Sean Madron for approval of a special use permit to use an
existing residential structure located in an R-2 zone as a shop that would include hair styling,tanning,massage
therapy, and manicuring. The site is more commonly known as 1724 Blaine Avenue.
To hear concurrently Case No. SUP-34-98. a request by Standard Builders Supply, Inc., for approval of a
special use permit to conduct a cement products manufacturing and wholesale outlet facility in an existing
building, and Case No.VAR-10-98, a request for approval of a 15-foot variance from the 45-foot limitation
in order to construct four, 60-foot tall bulk storage silos, and a 30-foot variance to construct a 75-foot tall
elevator,all for use as a part of the manufacturing facility. The site is located in an M-1 zone on the north side
of Simplot Avenue and is more commonly known as 303 Roedel Avenue.
I am attaching a copy of the site plan for Case No. SUP-33-98, and a location map for Case No. SUP-34-98.

SUBJECT: Proposal for Silo Storage at 303 Roedel Ave.
The following are the requirements to provide minimum fire
protection for the project :
1 . The Caldwell Fire Department would like to review the MSDS
for the material being processed for any health concerns .
2 . The Caldwell Fire Department would like to review a site plan
to insure that adequate access is available to the silo
structures .
