Thank you for the notice of the hearing to be conducted on December 9th at 7:00 P.M.,
Case Number SUP-69-99 to purpose a church in a portion of a building at 2423 Georgia
Ave.
I am an investor in Linden 3 theatres and evidently this lies within 300 feet of the subject
site. I have no reason to speak against the location of a church at that site. However,
since a church could affect my potential in being allowed to sell wine or beer in my
theatre in the future, I have a concern. I would, therefore, request in the event that the
zoning is granted for the church, that my theatre be grandfathered in relation to the sale of
wine or beer at that location, not being prohibited in the future by the fact that the church
would then exist.

I am the owner of the property at 2502 Linden,
which is directly across the street from the tuild-
ing at 2423 Georgia Avenue.
I have reviewed the files and exhibits to this
request at City Hall and I am not in favor of this
special use permit.
To locate a church in this C-3 zone could have
negative effects as to any change of use in the
future, such as a supper club with a liquor license.
