SUBJECT: Comments for Caldwell Hearing Examiner(October 10th hearing) The Caldwell Fire Department (CFD) offers the following comments regarding these cases to come before the Caldwell Hearing Examiner on August 23, 2000: Case No. SUP-104-00 La Hacienda Restaurant at 317 Happy Day Blvd. The CFD has conducted a field inspection of this facility and met with the Applicant. The minor change of use will require a modification in the occupant load calculations. This will be tabulated during plan review. There is also an exiting modification which will provide better egress from the facility. The CFD supports the Applicant's request to have a dance floor at this facility. Memorandum To: Linda James From: Gordon Law, City Engineer Re: Case No. SUP-104-00 Date: October 3, 2000 The Engineering Department has the following comments concerning the special use permit to include a dance floor night club in the La Hacienda Restaurant located in Suite 100 of the El Mercado, 317 Happy Day Boulevard. 1. If there is to be any increase in impervious area, provisions are to be made for disposal of stormwater drainage in accordance with the City's stormwater policy. A copy of this policy is available upon request. The engineer of record is to provide calculations which indicate the assumptions in his storm drainage plan which comply with the storm drainage policy. 2. If applying for a building permit, the applicant will be required to adhere to the City of Caldwell Infrastructure Improvement Policy governing street improvements (such as curb, gutter, and sidewalk). .)?<
