SUBJECT: Comments for Caldwell Planning & Zoning Commission November 14 meeting The Caldwell Fire Department (CFD) offers the following comments regarding these cases to come before the Caldwell Palnning&Zoning Commission meeting for November 14, 2000: Case No. SUP-107-00 Storage Yard for Concrete Cutting Equip. Location: 1015 N. 5th Avenue Applicant: ACDS, Inc. The CFD would request that the Applicant provide a visible address for these premises and have a 2A:10BC rated fire extinguisher in the office area. Case No. SUP-108-00 Cellular Telephone Antenna Site Location: N. 9th at Albany Applicant: UbiquiTel Leasing Company The CFD requires that this structure be provided with an address (if one is not already assigned). Case No. SUP-109-00 Conversion of SFR to office building Location: 614 Fillmore Ave. Applicant: Frances H. Walker The CFD requires that the Applicant provide a 2A:10BC rated fire extinguisher in the office area. Case No. SUP-110-00 Addition of 9th bed to Assisted Living Facility Location: 1510 Blaine Street Applicant: Sandra Eggebratten The CFD will require an inspection of this facility before granting approval. Re: Case No. SUP-110-00 Request by Sandra Eggebraaten Add a ninth bed to an existing residential assisted living facility Date: November 2, 2000 The Engineering Department has received the above referenced request for a Special Use Permit and provides the following comments: 1. The existing property is connected to City sewer and water, but may be subject to additional connection fees if the proposed use increases demand on the City's sewer and water systems. 2. Any additional impervious area created by modifications to the existing structure and grounds must be dealt with in accordance with the City's Storm Drainage Policy. 3. The existing right-of-way is adequate for the existing and proposed uses and the right-of-way width consistent with existing City policies and ordinances.
