RE: Case No. SUP-119-01, Special Use Permit for Telecommunications Tower
DATE: April 10, 2001
The Engineering Department has no immediate objections to the proposed project, as no
significant changes have been introduced since the previous application in October of
2000. The following comments were made at that time, and will be considered for this
application as well:
1. The communications tower is located within the airspace plan for the Caldwell
Industrial Airport. If the applicant intends on increasing the tower height, he must
provide the tower finish elevation to the Engineering Department for review to ensure
the tower does not penetrate existing or future Airport approach slopes or otherwise
adversely affect Airport operations.
2. If additional impervious area is planned,provisions are to be made for disposal of
stormwater drainage in accordance with the City's stormwater policy. A copy of this
policy is available upon request. The engineer of record is to provide calculations
that indicate the assumptions in his storm drainage plan comply with the storm
drainage policy.
3. Upon applying for a building permit, the applicant will be required to adhere to the
City of Caldwell Infrastructure Improvement Policy governing street improvements.
It should be noted that no apparent improvements would be required at this time.
