HomeMy WebLinkAbout04 Public Response PUBLIC RESPONSE ITEM DATE SUBMITTED BY a LeD I l -5- o l Re: Case No. ZON-15-01 I am the property owner at 115 Dearborn st. and am voicing concern of the proposed rezoning of 203,203 1/2, and 204 Everett. I have owned my house for 3 years now and have noticed that the "One stop body shop" on Paynter and Dearborn has been allowed to park un registered and disabled vehicles on my street. Not being aware of the applicable laws concerning a business such as that, I assume that they are in compliance with all local laws concerning vehicles that do not operate. My assumption comes from the fact that I was asked by the Caldwell Police department to remove a vehicle in my back yard (actively being use for parts) that was not running, while the vehicles at "One stop body shop" still remain. I can only assume that their business is in compliance while I was not. My concern is that the property in question on Everett, because of the nature of it's construction, is ideal for the operation of some type of mechanical shop which will result in more "eye sores" parked on our residential streets. If this is not the case, and the business will not result in more inoperative vehicles parked on residential streets, in that case I have no current objections.
