Re: Case Nos. SUP-152-01 and VAR-23-01
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NO - NO - NO! ! ! We do NOT want two more rental units on our
street on land zoned R-1, Lots lA & lB of Block 1 Spear
Subdivision! ! ! We already have a large complex here that is a
total eye-sore. It is never taken care of and grows thistle and
weeds to a point we have to complain to the sheriffs office to get
anything done with it! People pile up their trash and appliances
all over (which we had to, again, complain to get rid of it.
We have cars that hotrod in and out of the place and because it is
not well taken care of it lowers our property value and, as I said
before, is a total eye-sore. Plus, it will impact severely with
much more traffic on our dead end street.
We want no more rental units in this area. It is a single family
area and we would like to keep it that way. One large eye-sore is
more than enough!

Re: Case Nos. SUP-152-01 and VAR-23-01
We, again, are STRONGLY against the two rental units on our street
on land zoned R-1, Lots 1A and 1B of Block 1 Spear Subdivision! !
As stated in our previous letter of protest dated January 23, 2002
to you we already have a huge eye-sore with the multi-triplex unit
that is never maintained or landscaped. It is a continual trashy,
weed-growing mess, with noisy tenants revving their car motors and
piling old cars up they' re "working on" .
Mrs. Bistline stopped by our home asking us to reconsider our
feelings on her request stating her new rentals will be well
maintained and there would be a high fence between her place and
"those triplexes" . I 'm sure "those triplexes" were "well
maintained" also, when they were first built! BUT LOOK AT THEM
NOW! And what will her units look like further down the road??
She claims there won' t be a traffic impact on our dead-end street.
You bring in all those apartment units with 1 - 3 cars per unit and
see how it impacts our traffic.
We still say NO - NO - NO! We are totally and completely against
this and the same applies for our neighbors! We do not want the
request for those units ok'd.
