This facility underwent a major upgrade of their fire alarm system over a year ago. If there are any significant changes to the layout, exiting or occupant load the CFD will need to conduct another inspection. Case No: SUP-174-02 Applicant: Sherry Summers Project: Daycare Center Location: 1724 E. Cleveland Blvd. The CFD has no record of a current licensed daycare center at this address. The Applicant will have to apply for State Licensing and contact the CFD for state licensing fire inspection requirements in advance of opening this operation. Case No: SUB-59P(E)-00 Applicant: Rocky Ridge Construction Project: Country Village-PUD Location: E side of Florida, north of Ustick Rd. The CFD has no objection to an extension for this development but would require a couple of conditions. The first is that the property owners /developers maintain the gates into the facility in such a way that emergency vehicles can access the property if needed. If there are new padlocks on gates, the developer must provide keys to the CFD to install in the Supra lock boxes by the gates. The second condition would be that the developer or their agent maintain weed and vegetation control on the property to reduce that fire hazard. 1 Memorandum To: Steven Hasson From: Gordon Law,City Engineer Re: SUP-173-02 Request by Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church to Operate Children's Daycare Date: October 1,2002 The Engineering Department has reviewed the above request for a Special Use Permit and provides the following comments: 1. The existing property is connected to City Water, but may be subject to additional connection fees if the proposed use increases demand on the City's water system. The need for any additional will be reviewed during the building permit process. 2. The existing property is connected to City Sewer, but may be subject to additional connection fees if the proposed use increases demand on the City's sewer system. The need for any additional will be reviewed during the building permit process. 3. Any additional impervious area created by modifications to existing structure and/or grounds must be dealt with in accordance with the City's Storm Water Management Policy. 4. The existing right-of-way is adequate for the existing and proposed uses and the right-of-way width is consistent with existing City policies and ordinances. 5. The pedestrian ramp at Fourteenth Avenue is not ADA compliant. The construction of an ADA- compliant ramp will be required. 6. The tree along the Fourteenth Avenue frontage is creating heaving of sidewalk and curb and gutter. Currently the heaving is not creating a tripping hazard or a serious back-up of storm water, but if further upheaval occurs the property owner will be required to replace this area at owners expense.
