Passed. Roll Call: Steve Fultz, Melenie Stone, Warren Kouba, Kelli Jenkins, Keri Smith- Sigman, John McGee 501c3 Update • Filed with the State — Ez form submitted Plaza Site 4'x8' Sign • The City of Caldwell ordered a "Proposed Site' sign with the plaza rendering designating King's Corner location to formally announce Indian Creek Plaza and no word on the arrival time. Public Funds for the Plaza • The City of Caldwell is working on the planning for and budgeting the expenditure of public funds for the Plaza design, development and construction. When Dan Sentfner comes in March there is a meeting planned with Mayor Nancolas and E1Jay Waite on the public funding. Downtown Incentive Program — LBID • Fagade LBID and fire suppressant grant aka Downtown Incentive Program is ongoing. • February 16`x' is the date a proposal is to be brought to the City Council. • Steve Fultz reported to the committee that the CDBGP (Community Development Block Grant Program (HUD program) process begins in March and will keep us informed as to the progress. RFQ Architectural Design of Indian Creek Plaza • City Public Works Director is leading the Architectural Design RFQ process and it should be out this week. • Plaza RFQ Design Selection Team was presented & approved at Feb 1, 2016 City Council meeting: Brent Orton, Robb Macdonald, Dan Senftner, Keri Smith- Signzan, Bob Jenkins, Jeff Hunsicker, Matt Kelly. • RFQ Architectural Design will be released on February 11, 2016 • RFQ Timeline: February — April, 2016 Business Improvement District • Working on 3rd iteration of potential two-tiered BID boundary with property values. • The committee discussed the BID Steering Team to develop Caldwell's Business Improvement District. Extend invitations to this team is being implemented and due by February 19th to solidify the team. • BID Workshop is planned for the morning of March 16: Guest speakers: Karen Sanders — Downtown Boise; Dan Senflner — Main Street Square; and, Mark Hilty — City of Caldwell Attorney Indian Creek Plaza Business Plan, Pro Forma Budget and Event Calendar • Dan Senftner's next visit will be March 14-17,2016 • Extended Dan's contract 90 days. End date = June 1, 2016 No extra cost just travel expenses. • Plan to meet with Dan individually March 14 -- 15 to review your sections. • Goal: Finalize Indian Creek Plaza's Business Plan, Pro Forma Budget & Event Calendar Destination Caldwell/Indian Creek Plaza Updates • John is developing the 2016 Communications Plan • Monthly Plaza updates to City Council, Chamber of Commerce, Civic Organizations, etc. Keri spoke to the Caldwell Optimist Club and ongoing meetings are being set up to keep all groups informed. Indian Creek Plaza Fundraising • Discussion was made on creating the sub -committee for the fundraising efforts.
