The Engineering Department provides the following comments on a request by Verizon
Wireless\Jody Knopp for a special-use permit to construct a cellular\wireless tower within the M-1
(Light Industrial) zone. The subject property is located at 724 Paynter Ave. in Caldwell, Idaho.
Rights-of-Way
1. Paynter Ave has a Minor Arterial Street Classification, The applicant shall dedicate a forty(40)
foot one-half width right-of-way along the subject parcels Paynter Ave frontage.
2. Juniper Street is a non-classified street with an existing twenty-one (21) one-half width right-of-
way. Additional right-of-way will not be required at this time.
General
1. All traffic control for the project shall meet the requirements of the 2009 Manual on Uniform
Traffic Control Devices (M.U.T.C.D.) and the City Engineer. The contractor shall provide a
traffic control plan to the City Engineer for review prior to any construction within the right-of-
way.
