Roil Call: Steve Fultz, Melenie Stone, Warren Kouba,John McGee,and Kelli Jenkins. Guests: Emma Hardin(Caldwell Youth Council) 5016 Update • The document is ready for signatures and Keri will report when completed. Plaza Site 4'x8' Sign • The City of Caldwell is ordering a"Proposed Site"sign with plaza rendering designating King's Corner location to formally announce Indian Creek Plaza. Public Funds for the Plaza • The City of Caldwell is working on Plaza financing. Business Im rovement District • Received 2nd iteration of potential two-tiered BID boundary with property values from the Canyon County Assessor's office. • Developing a BID Steering Team to develop Caldwell's Business Improvement District. • BID workshop tentatively planned for the 1 st week in February is being postponed until the Pro Forma Budget is completed(March-April 2016).Need accurate 3-year sustainability numbers to determine the goals for the BID. Downtown Incentive Pro am -LBID ■ Kelli Jenkins reported the City of Caldwell is working on a fagade improvement and fire suppressant LBIDIDowntown Incentive Program to assist property owners in revitalizing historic buildings in downtown Caldwell. ACTION ITEM: Steve Fultz is going to find out the members of the Design Review Committee for the City of Caldwell RFQ Architectural Design of Indian Creek Plaza • City Public works Director is leading the Architectural Design RFQ process. • Plaza RFQ Design Selection Team to be presented for approval at City Council at February 1,2016, City Council meeting. • The Design Selection Team -Brent Orton, Rob McDonald, Keri Sigman-Smith, Dan Sentfner, Bob Jenkins, Matt Kelly, Betsy or Jeff Hunsicker • RFQ Architectural Design tentative timeline: February 1, 2016-April 1, 2016 Indian Creek Plaza Business Plan,Pro Forma Budget and Event Calendar • All drafts need to be completed by February 3,2016. • A budget workshop will be on February Stn after the committee meeting including Dan Sentfner on a video/skype conference. ACTION ITEM: All committee members need to review the Pro Forma sections and add any edits or t changes via the Word document using the track changes. This should all be completed by February 5 . 4 Destination Caldwell/Indian Creek Plaza Updates • Develop a 2016 Communications Plan--John McGee will be working on this. • Media...Leora Summers agreed to have Steve Fultz include a Plaza update in his monthly Economic Development updates to the "Caldwell Perspective."There is a new "Idaho Press Tribune"reporter, Olivia Weitz,who will be covering Caldwell City news. • Monthly Plaza updates to City Council,Chamber of Commerce,Civic Organizations,etc.—Melenie has contacted all the civic groups and is in the process of scheduling as needed to keep all groups informed.
