Caldwell Police Department Community Room 110S. 5 th Avenue, Caldwell, ID 83605 I. Call to order. Theresa Hardin called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. IL Roll Call. Members Present. Theresa Hardin, Gina LuJa l , Brian Billingsley, Ricardo Calderon, Vinton Howell, Jim Blacker, Gene Gunderson, Mike Pollard, Julie Warwick, Rena McKean, Dare Marston. Members Absent. Dr. Brett Bauts her, Cindy Arnbriz, Kelli Warwick, Torn Marmon. Others Present. Kelli Foreman. Ill. Minutes. Mr. Billingsley made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of May 27, 2014. Second by Ms. Warwick. No discussion. MOTION APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY. . IV. Introduction of New Members. None. V, old Business. A. Report rt n I hittenber er Park. Minton reported the north end ofl hittenberger Park can be turned into a dog perk. The Parks Department would need to rotate the north soccer field, which is generally used as a practice field, at a 90 degree angle to make a dog park fit on the north end ofl hittenberger Park. Minton also reported that the northern end of the park does not experience seasonal flooding like the southern portion of the part , so he thinks it would be an adequate site for a dog parr. B. Continued Discussion on Rotary Pond Park and other sites. A general discussion took place amongst the committee between rotary Pond Park and lfhittenberger Park. After a fear minutes, the committee agreed to support the Whittenberger Park site as the future site of a dog park. Brian recommended that the committee formulate a motion and present its recommendations at a city council workshop to be held in August. Motion rude by Ms Mclean. Second by Ms. Warwick. MOTION APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY. Caldwell Dog Park Committee Meeting,June 24, 2014 Page 1 Ill. New Business. None. V11, Next Meeting. The Committee authorized Brian Billingsley to schedule a date for the workshop with the City Council. Brian asked ed the committee to be present at the workshop and pledged to give the committee ample time to plan it in their schedules. VIII.
