A. Report rt n I hittenber er Park. Minton reported the north end ofl hittenberger
Park can be turned into a dog perk. The Parks Department would need to rotate the
north soccer field, which is generally used as a practice field, at a 90 degree angle to
make a dog park fit on the north end ofl hittenberger Park. Minton also reported
that the northern end of the park does not experience seasonal flooding like the
southern portion of the part , so he thinks it would be an adequate site for a dog parr.
B. Continued Discussion on Rotary Pond Park and other sites. A general
discussion took place amongst the committee between rotary Pond Park and
lfhittenberger Park. After a fear minutes, the committee agreed to support the
Whittenberger Park site as the future site of a dog park. Brian recommended that
the committee formulate a motion and present its recommendations at a city council
