I. Call to order. Brian Billingsley called the meeting to order at approximately :
p.m.
II. loll Call
Members Present. Theresa Hardin, ,Julie Warwick, Gina LuJa k, Rena McKean, Jim
Blacker, Brian Billingsley, Ricardo Calderon, Teri Higgins, Vinton Howell.
Members Absent. Mike Pollard.
Others Present. Kelli Warwick

III. Introduction of Members. The members of the committee took a fever minutes to
introduce themselves. Mr. Billingsley stated that four people recently signed up to
serve on the committee, but their names were not submitted in time to be included
on the original list of appointees. They are Celli Warwick, Dr. Brett Bauseher, Torn
Marmon,on, and Gene Gunderson. He said they would be appointed during the April 7 1'
City Council meeting.
IV. Election of officers. The committee unanimously elected Theresa Hardin as Chair
and ,Julie Warwick as ice-Chair.
.V. Staff Report.rt. Mr. Billingsley gave a presentation on what took place during 2012
when a previous committee was formed study a site for a dog park. He reported that
the Planning & Zoning Commission Voted down a special use permit for the Rotary
Pond Park site because of protests made by two neighboring property owners.
Several members of the committee discussed their feelings on the proposed site and
how a dog park should be designed. her. Howell confirmed that the Notary Pond
Park site is the only city-owned property that is currently feasible for a dog park.

Ill. New Business.
A. Future Meeting Dames: The committee agreed to meet on the fourth Tuesday of the
month at a time and place that is convenient for the group.
B. Discussion on Committee Tasks s and Duties. The committee decided to invite the
people who opposed the previous proposal to their nett meeting in April. Members
of the committee expressed an interest to hear their concerns of the objectors and
attempt to negotiate an agreement. Mr. Billingsley suggested the nett meeting take
place during the evening hours. The Committee agreed to hold the meeting on
Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce.
Vlll. Meeting adjourned at approximately 4:55 p.m.
