Donna C. called the meeting to order at 1:04 with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
In attendance:
Donna Crockett, Jeri Rhodes, Sharon K lins, Mary Twit hell, Carol Murphy,
Gerald Shea and Michelle Gable
Absent: Biller Copeland, bonna queen, Mike Pollard, Leonard Lewis
Minutes of the meeting April 13, 2015 adopted

The stripping of the floor is to begin May 1 . This will be done in 2 phases. First
Phase will be in the back dining roots and foyer area with bathrooms. Patty will ask
for volunteers to assist as needed. Second phase is May 23 and Donna will be back
to facilitate the main dining room process.
• Union Pacif is Railroad- Grant has been received in the amount of $5000. Donna
would like approval tot ore forward with purchasing the Steamer unit in the kitchen.
0 No Rental scheduled due to floor polishing
0 Health epart ment Merit Award - Center has been nominated for this award,
Health Inspectors will coin unannounced to inspect. Staff has been informed this
will occur.
a Repair work was cane on Convection oven this month.
• Repairman came to check and f ix geezer door as it was not shutting properly
Food costs are going to be addressed when I return.

Pool Room - biscussion on f uture of the pool room.
Jeri will draf t a letter to the Pool room to propose a solution f or the New to You and the
Pool Roam space.

Gerald offered to take over reviewing and updating the operations manual.
Napkins:
Motion made to have one napkin to wrap the silver ware and have extra napkins available if
people need there. .

Donna C. will tally to bebbie Geyer about Mike Pollard being a voting member and Gerald
Shea being are official Senior Center Board member.
New Business:
Bingo Split- Motion made to split the Bingo account according to the rules of the Senior
Center.

SHIBA agreement - Motion made to sign the renewal contract with SHIBA.

Grant Money- The Board felt that we would reed further information on how the steamer
would be the best use of the grant money. Discussion was held on the replacement of the
serving unit. This will be discussed further at the next meeting. Gerald stated that he
would f ind out the cost of a new searing unit.
