No Old Business New Business 1. Request Deputy Chief Cater—"It has come to our attention that Tractor trailers have been using Garber Street to store their unused commercial trailers. The trailers at times sit there for weeks at a time, this is not normally a problem yet when they leave there trailers for indefinite period in front of the Best Bath building this could cause delay or difficulty under fire ground operation and ladder truck placement in front of that building. Fire code requires availability of that area for aerial fire truck use. Can we have this area designated temporary parking only on that side of the street in front of the best Bath complex? I would like to see signage posted" Various suggestions were offered, "Red Curbing, 2-Hour Parking, No Parking, No overnight Parking". All suggestions would meet the needs of the Fire department however each would have a varying degree of impact on the Best Bath Business. A motion was made and the TC agreed unanimously for officer Devin Riley to meet with and review the various options and the restrictions of each option with Best Bath. Officer Riley will then communicate Best Baths preference via email to the TC and to the Street department. The Street department will implement Best Baths choice as their schedule and the weather allow. Action:. officer Devin Riley will meet with Best Bath and communicate a final solution to the TC and the Street department. Resource/Weather Pending Business: - 1.
