CALDWELL URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY
March 2, 1999 - 12:00 noon
Caldwell City Hall Council Chambers
The regular scheduled meeting of the Caldwell Urban Renewal Agency was held March 2,
1999 at 12:00 noon in the city Council Chambers at City Hall with Chairman ElJay Waite
presiding. The roll was called: present were Mayor Nancolas, ElJay Waite, Leona Fouts and
Terry Rinearson. Absent was Mike Gable.
Motion to approve the agenda was made by Mayor Nancolas, seconded by Fouts, and passed
unanimously.
Old Business
Motion to approve the minutes from the January 5, 1999 meeting was made by Rinearson,
seconded by Fouts, and passed unanimously.
New Business
Chairman Waite distributed a copy of the final Urban Renewal Plan to each commissioner.
General Discussion:
1) Chairman Waite announced that confirmation had been received from the State Tax
Commission that the map, descriptions and ordinance sent to them were complete and the
changes will be on the ‘99 assessment rolls.
2) Mayor Nancolas announced that the time period for appeal has lapsed.
3) Mayor Nancolas and Waite met with the County on 1/21. Discussion of support was
positive, not yet in writing.
4) Tour of the URA project area is scheduled immediately following the meeting for
anyone available and interested.
Motion to adjourn was made by Nancolas, seconded by Rinearson, passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned 12:20pm.
Next meeting is scheduled for April 6, 1999 at 12:00 noon.
