1. Proposed Workforce Housing East of Proposed Plaza Site
.John said New Beginnings dousing will be resubmitting plans with retail on the ground floor.John noted
that their will be presenting to CEU A today.We should have questions about City match funds and
EURA sales/lease agreements.
2.Plaza Design
DCO and Destination Caldwell should meet and review design together. Plaza plans need to include
(among other things)storage,toilets,garbage and recycling, etc. Bob suggested confirmation about
viability/sustainable strategies for viable skating rink.
3. Plaza District Ordinance
Roger Brooks advises for a Plaza District Ordinance than would control uses and design of buildings
around'the plaza. Initial DCO thought are:
• Eating and Drinking establishments surrounding plaza at ground floor

• No parking lots or parking at ground floor
• Housing or office above
• Design Guidelines for facades and plaza/sidewalk use, etc
• Streetscape Standards
Sherry to expand for next meeting.
4.lebsite
T eri said Roger Brooks will design the website and recommend how it interfaces with other
f organizations—City, Chamber, Destination Caldwell,etc. List downtown accomplishments to date.

Hoer would pay be structured to incentivize performance?
6. DCO Downtown Recommendation
DCO reviewed Draft Recommendations. Destination Caldwell needs to be added to responsibilities
There appropriate.Plaza District Ordinance needs to be added as action item. 5 year plan would
incorporate Roger Brooks recommendations.
7.Schedule .
Aim for Plaza schematic to be presented to CEURA on January 6 or schedule a special meeting. KSS to
tell Roger Brooks.
