Minutes of November 2014 Airport Commission Meeting F Motion was made and seconded to accept the November 2014 Minutes. Motion passed. 2, Airport Improvement Program —Toby Epler/Rob Oates - Toby Epler stated that the FAA review has not come back yet on the AIP27 reports, He said he hopes to receive the review toward the end.of the month. } 3. canal Relocation Update — Brent Orton, Rob stated that he has received no updates on this ratter. 4. Buildable Lots Update Rob Oates No additional lets have Y et been sold; however there are still interested parties. 5. { City-owned Hangar Update — Rob Oates Rob reported that the.h n ar at 5017 Aviation Way is still on the market. There are a couple of parties interested at this time, 6. Re-appointment of Commission Members — Rob Oates The Airport Commission terms for Rob Herndon and Barry Everett, Jr. expire the end f of December. Rob H. has agreed to accept reappointment as are Airport Commissioner; however no word has been received back from Barry regarding' his acceptance. Rob Oates will attempt to contact Barry following the meeting, as Barry was not In attendance at this meeting. if he chooses not to accept reappointment, Rob Oates will then pursue a replacement for that seat, } s� {- ti I 7. f Anr� unoements — Rob Oates The,Caldwell Airport Automated Weather Observing Station has been down for an extended period of time. The,FAA maintenance team has not provided an expected date of restored operation.- Rob hays,a call into therm for more information. The FAA team re pl a c' ed.-at-board on the AWOS, but that did not fix the problem. A NOTAM remains in effect until the AWOS is a in operative. � F The new beacon has been received. A crane will be scheduled to remove the old beacon and replace it'with the new erne. The old one is operational at present, but is running under temporary repairs and could go out at any time. Snow was removed from the field after the big snow this last month. crews carne out as soon as the snow event ended on Friday to remove snow from the red zone runway, taxi lame, hot ramp). The crews then came back Monday and Tuesday, when they were not on overtime, to clear the rest of the taxiways tie down area. The Wildlife Hazard Assessment observations have now been completed. A report from WH Pacific will be forthcoming with recommendations. The FAA .staff in Helena will then decide what follow-up needs to be done, and whether a Wildlife Mitigation Plan will be required. 5 } The Urban Renewal D.i trict has purchased the Dillon property across Linden from Hubler terminal. This should allay some possible issues regarding the { f canal move. F The new diagram and information published in the Airport Facilities Directory has been posted to the Caldwell airport web ate ww.caldwellairport.com under "documents". The public end of Hubler Terminal will soon be open during office hours for use by arriving aircrews and passengers. Silverhawk Aviation has agreed to truck X et fuel to Hubler Terminal apron upon request. The meeting was adjourned at 12:45 pry.
