1. Design Review
Jarom said City is tightening up on enforcement of Design review requirements.
2. Downtown Project Update
Jarom updated OCO on potential projects and projects submitted to the City:
Event Center at Main Street between 51h and 6th Streets;
Bird Stop at 7'h and Main t;
Restaurant possibly at old Bird Stop location;
City taring to find new location for Bennet Machine Shop;
undown r Motel may have buyer;
DL Evans Bank at 10th Street is supposed to be 2 stories but they don't want to do two,so City is asking
for tall one story.
3. Incentives
D O may rake recommendation to CEURA to provide no/low interest loans for building improvements.
Jarom hears that incentives would be popular—he thinks owners should have some skin its the game so
lour interest would be better. Improvements hould be for permanent items, not tenant improvements.
City could extend LID (ends at end of year)and expand the LID from .
4.CEURA
John met with Mark Hilty and Rob Hoppe'. Bob Hopper wrote letter for plaza designation. CEU RA to
meet today to approve.CEURA looping to DCO for recommendations including loans--job creation is
important.Stephanie suggested building on House Bill 541
5. Roger Brooks
Roger Brooks here today; public event tomorrow—spread the word. Bob and Jogn to be on Brand
Development Committee.
3. Funding
SWITA grant came through.
