June 16, 2014 Regular Meeting Minutes
At Golden Palace
Board Members Present: Sid Freeman, Jim Blacker, Phares Book and Beronica Salazar
Staff Members Present: Mike Dittenber, Cheri Hess and Alonso Torres
In Order of Business:
1. Roll call and call to order:
Phares Book called the meeting to order at 12:11 p.m.
2. Review of the Minutes:
After reviewing the May 2014 minutes, Sid Freeman made the motion to approve the minutes;
seconded by Phares Book and approved by the Board at 12:15 p.m.
3. Treasurer Financial Report:
Cheri presented the financial report to the Board. Cheri explained the increased costs to the
budget attributed to summer lawn care. Sid Freeman made the motion to approve the May
financial report; Seconded by Phares Book and approved by the Board at 12:45 p.m.
4. New Business:
Mike reported on the current satellite tv scams at Farmway Village. Customers are encouraged
to switch providers with the understanding the cost is free to change. Unfortunately, there is a
cost to changing providers and the tents felt they weren't truthfully information of the risks of
changing services. Mike suggests creating a sticker that would go on all satellite dishes that
have been installed by our contracted satellite installer.
Mike informed the Board about the current legal issues with #327. He explained their lease will
not be renewed based on several violations of the lease; specifically the filth and unsanitary
condition of the apartment. Beronica suggests calling Health and Welfare and filing a report.
Following the discussion, the Board approved a new policy as such:
RESOLUTION: "In accordance with Idaho law, CHA will report any abuse, unsafe or
sanitary condition of an apartment to child protective services, when it is known that
there are children in the household."
Sid Freeman made a motion to approve the policy; seconded by Beronica and approved by to
Board at 1:30 p.m.

With no further discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 1:35 p.m.
