Donna C. called the meeting to order at 1:00 with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
In attendance:
Donna Crockett, Billy Copeland, Jeri Rhodes, Sharon Kolins, Gene Schaecher,
Forrest Smotherman, Mary Twitchell, Michelle Gamble, Mike Pollard, Carol
Murphy and Donna Queen
Minutes of the meeting March 10, 2014 approved

Still having new people coming into the Center for lunch.
Janitor is working well.
March 18 unannounced inspection of the Center. Inspection passed.
Dish Machine- visited by the company people that make the system and educated on the
proper use of the machine.
Health Fair was well received.
Menu committee - April May and June menus have been completed.
Front Desk meeting - Reminded of importance of accounting for each person who attends
the center.
WICAP- called and offered 12 cases of frozen blue berries and 24 turkeys to the center.
Podium has been re- painted.
Raffle made $48.00 would like use to purchase a new Kitchen Aid mixer.
Ebay has been working well.

Balance over 10,000 as we did not have the most current report
Bills: $639.00 to be paid to Billy for the Stainless Counter top and for gas for going to pick
up the counter top.

Old Business:
• Shuffle Board table in the Pool room. Would need to talk to the pool room if this is a
possibly. - Pool room is looking into getting one. Ongoing
• The Caldwell Senior Center Operations Manual needs to be updated as well as they
Bylaws and ordinance. Ongoing
• Removal of the advertising signage as you come in the door. This wall will be covered
with cork board and be used for events and Center events etc. Completed
• Sale of Fishing Lures - Completed
• First Aid Kits - Complete
• Assistant Cook - Completed Sammy Fox is the new Assistant cook.
• Availability of Bussing for the Senior Center - Gene -
• Scholarship update - This is still ongoing at this point. Should have some
information this week.
New Business
Bingo split - $8,000 to the Board Account.

Meals on Wheels made a $50.00 donation to the Senior Center. We have signed a card to
say Thank you.
Farm Store - Will purchase a clothing rack for the New to You store.
