ORDINANCE NO. 2960
AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE CALDWELL CITY COUNCIL CHANGING
THE NAME FOR A PORTION OF "MUD SPRINGS AVENUE" TO "AQUA SPRINGS
AVENUE "; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS
AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Caldwell, County of
Canyon, State of Idaho:
Section 1: That pursuant to the authority set forth in Idaho Code § 50 -318 and in the
Caldwell City Code at § 05 -07- 08(2), and upon the request of the Caldwell Mapping
Department, that certain street known as "MUD SPRINGS AVENUE," located in the recently
platted Whitney Springs Subdivision No. 3 Phase 1 (not to be confused with the street carrying
the same name in Phase 2 of said subdivision), shall hereinafter be officially named and
designated as "AQUA SPRINGS AVENUE."
Section 2: Notice to all affected parties was sent out on February 20, 2014. The effective
date of this change is May 20, 2014.
Section 3: This ordinance is hereby declared to be severable. If any portion of this ordinance
is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue
in full force and effect and shall be read to cant' out the purposes of the ordinance before the
declaration of partial invalidity.
Section 4: All ordinances, resolutions, orders and parts thereof in conflict herewith are
repealed, rescinded and annulled.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, this 17th day of
March, 2014.
