Donna gave a brief overview of what the center does for our members and the
community.
It was determined that the manual and bylaws were changed years ago and never
sent to the city council to be ratified. Therefore the manual and bylaws that we
currently have are null and void. The Board will be correcting this shortly and make
sure that all forms are filed correctly.
In the previous elections it was put that we did not have a quorum to move forward
with the annual elections. After further review it was determined that a quorum is
not needed to hold elections.
Anyone who over 60 will be allowed to vote and no member ship dues will be charged
from here on. As the meeting from last week was not closed today we will resume
with the elections for today.
Donna asked for any further nominations.
Donna introduced the members that are running. Michelle Gamble (absent) Jeri
Rhodes, Carol Murphy and James Buten.
Ballots were handed out and then collected
Motion to close the voting.
