ORDINANCE NO. 2943
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE 1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO, PERTAINING TO GENERAL
PROVISIONS BY DELETING AND ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE IN SECTION 03 -01 -05 (1)
PERTAINING TO SALARIES OF ELECTED OFFICIALS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS AND PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho:
Section 1. That Section 05, of Chapter 3, Article 1 of the Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell, County of
Canyon, State of Idaho pertaining to Salaries be amended as follows:
03- 01 -05: MAYOR AND COUNCIL SALARIES:
(1)
A. Mayor: Commencing January 1, 2014, the salary of the Mayor shall be the annual sum of seventy-
seven thousand five hundred fifty -one dollars and fifty cents ($77,551.50), to be paid bi- weekly, the
same as other salaries are paid by the City.
B. B. Council: Each member of the council elected to office and in office on January 1, 2014, or
thereafter, shall be paid an annual sum of seven thousand nine hundred twenty -five dollars
($7,925), to be paid in twenty -six (26) equal payments, one each two (2) weeks, the same as other
salaries are paid by the City.
Section 2. Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
