Present: Joan Pemble, chair; Melissa Stringfield ; Bonny Smith; Monica Jones, Caldwell
City Human Resources; Shannon Ozuna, City Council Liaison
Absent: Leona Manke; Larry Blackburn, Elaine Leppert, Library Director;
Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m.
Executive session called to order at 4:30 – 5:27 p.m.
li. VOTED — approved (Stringfield, Smith): Motion to offer the Part-Time, Temporary
Librarian position to Lacey Welt @ $20.00 per hour for up to 32 hours per week.
III. Action Item: Pemble and Stringfield will meet with library staff to discuss
expectations for incoming Part-Time, Temporary Librarian duties and working
relationship.
IV. Action Item: Smith and Blackburn will meet with incoming Part-Time, Temporary
Librarian on the first day of work to introduce her to the staff and facilitate a tour
and familiarization with the working environment.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
Next meeting: April 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
