The Golf Tournament is one of our greatest fundraisers we have. Everyone helping
needs to be there at noon. The team consists of Kathleen, Keith, Kathryn, Elise, and
Jamie. Andrea, Ryan, Alex, and Jordan will be setting up.
Update on Train Depot Fundraiser:
-Jamie's team raised $41.00
-Andrea's team raised $64.00
The money was going towards a quilt.
4 of July Parade:
The theme this year is "Happy Birthday USA". It is obviously the fourth of July.
There will be a Committee meeting discussing the float June 18, 2008 at 5:00 pm.
Service Projects:
We discussed different projects we could do throughout the year and some of the ones
we came up with were: Easter Production, Turkey Giving, and Donations for
Christmas Families.
Video of MYAC!
An idea brought up was making a video of the council at meetings, projects, or just
having a good time. Philip, our historian would be in charge of filming it. Kathleen
made the motion to make this come true and Keith, being so nice, second the motion.

Boards and Committees:
The council still wants to be a part of different boards and committees that take place
in our community.
City Update:
Mayor gave us an update of the skate park, Indian Creek, a new City Hall, and a new
and improved Downtown Caldwell. The skate park, which will be located by Flying
J, will be coming very soon! The first phase of Indian Creek is pretty much done. In
the future we will be seeing a new City Hall; which will be located on 7 th and Blaine.
Ground breaking will be in the spring. We also will be seeing an improved
Downtown Caldwell. There will be a historic area, cultural area, and vineyards. It will
most definitely be pedestrian friendly. I'm sure all of us can agree we are all excited!
Rob Oates also gave us a city update. He said there will also be a major makeover of
the library. It won't be happening this year, but soon. The Caldwell airport will also
face change, which means a new terminal.
Kathryn adjourned the meeting with a motion by Keith and a second by Ryan.
Next Meeting is June 18, 2008 at 6:00 pm at the Police Station.
