CONSENT CALENDAR:
1.Approve acceptance of the minutes from the City Council Regularly Scheduled Meeting held
on July 2, 2012; the Special City Council Budget Workshop Meetings held on July 9, 2012
and July 10, 2012; the Caldwell Traffic Commission Meeting held on July 2, 2012; the
Caldwell Historic Preservation Commission Meeting held on May 21, 2012, and the
Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held on June 12, 2012;
2.Approve Order of Decision for Case No. SUB/PUD-198E-08 (Golden View time extension);
3.Approve Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the SAFERs Grant from FEMA for the
purpose of maintaining nine firefighter positions;
4.Approve Resolution authorizing City sponsorship of the YMCA Roundup Event in
conjunction with the Caldwell Night Rodeo on August 14, 2012 to be held at Simplot
Stadium;
5.Approve Resolution granting partial reimbursement to RFR Properties for road
improvements made in connection with the Caldwell Crossing Subdivision.
OLD BUSINESS:
None.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.Public Hearing: Regarding the Community Development Block Grant in the amount of
th
$500,000 for streetscape improvements on Main Street between 6 and Kimball Avenues and
th
on 7 Street between Arthur and Main. Improvements include pedestrian crossings, new
sidewalks and street lights. The hearing will include a review of the project,
accomplishments to date, and any changes concerning the project.
2.Public Hearing (Quasi-judicial): Case Number ANN-187-12 a request by the City of
-foot wide by fifteen-hundred-foot long
a strip of dedicated public right-of-way located on the north side of Ustick Road and the east
side of South Illinois Avenue consisting of 0.82 acres.
3.Public Hearing (Legislative): Case Number OA-149-12 a request by the City of Caldwell
Planning and Zoning Department to amend and update Chapter 10, the zoning ordinance, of
Caldwell City Code.
4.Public Hearing (Legislative): Case Number OA-150-12 a request by the City of Caldwell
Planning and Zoning Department to amend and update Chapter 2, Article 17, of Caldwell
City Code, concerning the Caldwell Historic Preservation Commission.
5.Consider Bill No. 13 (Ordinance No. 2914) to amend Chapter 8 of the Caldwell City
Ordinance pertaining to weapon usage within the Caldwell city limits with a request to waive
the rules, pass on the first reading, and approve the summary for publication.
6.Financial and Human Resource Report.
7.Council Reports.

9.Executive Session pursuant to Idaho Code, Section 67-2345, Subsection (f) for the purpose
of discussing pending litigation.
10.Adjourn.
