AUGUST I2,I996
The meeting was called to order at 9:A.M. by chairman Lauren Stevens.Those present
were Doris E11is,Kenny Averill,Lauren Stevens,Ramona Honey,Ruby Arbaugh,Pete Hanold,
Beryl Kingsbury,Harvey Simmons,and Clarence Schwanz.Also present was Ann Moyer from
Emme tt .
The purpose of the meeting was to intervtew for a cook as well as the regular ntonthlg�
meeting.
The first interview was wi Yvonne Bloo
Marsha Salisbury was interviewed at 9:30.
A motion was made by Kenny that we choose Yvonne Bloom as our new cook. This was seconded
by Doris, Passed unanamously.At this time Ann M yer left
The secretarys report was read and ammend�8,.to include�the bi11..o� $75.00 for Beryl �nd
�lso the fact that any gift given to the Senior Center is tax deductable to the donor.
The treasurers report was read and approved.Also Kenny is to check into the possibillity
of putting the maintenance fund into an interest drawing account.

A motion was made by Beryl and seconded b,y Ruby to pay the bills. Approved.
A letter was read from the Mayors office requesting that we use Gerdes for heating and , .
cooling work. This we will do.
Lauren informed us that the Title 5 employee was a training program and therefore was
for a temporary employee of up to 6 months. We agreed to go ahead with the program.

depending on.�length of employment: Also cooks helper to recieve $500.00 a year or to be

We were informed that the treadmill has been repaired.
A motion was made by Beryl and seconded by Kenny for adjournment. Adjourned at II.IO.
