A special meet�ng of the Caldwell Senior Citizen board was called and held
on January 9,]996.
e meeting was called to order by Lauren Stevens, Chairman.
Those present were TLauren Stevens,Chairman,Doris E11is,Beryl Kingsbury,Clarence Schwanz,
Kenny Averill,Jim Taylor,Ruby Arbaugh,Harvey Simmons and Ramona Honey.
Lauren Stevens opened the meeting by stressing the point that the board _
s hould t ry to all work together and co-operate with each other as well as the employees.
The general discussion was about the problems which have arisen with the
cooks as to the matter of the changing of the menu and the cooks hours worked.The subject
will be discussed further The possibility of offerinq the cook a large bonus at the end
f one years emp oyment was men ioned. It was feit that thie might be an incenti.ve fo�
the cook staying for a longer period of employment.
There was further discussion of the possibility of getting a water purifier
for the center.This was to be looked into and further discussed at the next meeting.
Beryl Kingsbury made a motion for dismissal. This was seconded by Ruby Arbaugh.
Meeting dismissed.
