The Golf Board of Control convened on February 13, 1973.

1. Minutes �f the Januar•y 16, 1973 meeting wer•e read and appr�ved.
� 2. The board r�ecommends the following appoint�nents: (a ) Mrs. Anne
f Smith, 1611 Oregon Avenue, Caldwell, Idaho, t� finish the term of
� Jerry Mileger• ending December 31, 197�+. (b ) Loris H. Navis, 1506
Arlington Avenue, CAldwell, Idah� to finish the ter•m of Fred Str•ingfield,

3. Priority lists for cour•se improvements were set aside f�r• discussion
at next meeting.

5. A Discussi�:; _ t�ative to increases in dues and gr•een fees r•esulted
in the f�il�wing rec�mmendations: (a) Year•ly member•ship dues in a1T
categ�ries be maintained as is, (b) Gr•een fees to be incr•eased as

rnember•ships will be incr•eased f�r� �he 197� year.

system a� Pur�ple Sa�;e whicil ��vould cost appr�ximately $12F,,000 t�
$140,000. It was n�ted that savir,gs up Lo �18,000 per year ��u1d be
realized �ver �ur present system. Plar.s for Fairview will be f'orth

7. Pr�fessional Stanw�od r•ep�rted that r•�venues in the excess of '�
$8,000 had been realized this year s� far. He rep�rted g��d play at
Fatirview and Lhat Purple Sage would �pen possibl� on February 17th
westher permitting.
8. James KcGarvin r•ep�rted that the Men's Assoc. annual meer,ing is
scheduled r�r March 10, 1973. He also r•ep�rted Lhat a memo�°ial is
being consider•e3 for Jerry Mileger.
9. Laura Ga�nb�a rep�Y�ted a good ar,tendan; e at the Women� s Assoc.

Fairview C1ubh�use be reconsidered at a later• meeting.
10. A discussi�n Y���lative to the homA and property �wned by Mrs. W�o3
on Fairview ensued due to the fact �that she is considering selling it'�f�r
c�;nmercial purposes. Joe Gamboa intimated he w�uld check into it and'
rep�rt at nex� mee�ing.
