HELD ON APRIL 27, 2009
The meeting was called to order by Monica Jones at 9:00 a.m.
Those in attendance: Monica Jones, ElJay Waite, and Mary-Kaye Stewart
DISCUSSION ITEM(S):
• Reviewed financial reports as of March 31, 2009. Reports included balance sheet,
income statement, and bank statement. All accounts are balanced.
• Mr. Waite will review options for higher interest bearing accounts.
� Ms. Jones will review the administrator of the City's Flex 125 plan with Moreton
& Co.
• Mr. Waite will prepare the quarterly reports for December 31, 2008 and March
• 31, 2009 for the DOI and Ms. Jones will email to Georgia at DOI.
• Mr. Waite requested that Ms. Jones contact Nate Marshall at Moreton & Co. to
discuss the required funding and potential surplus in the trust account. [Nate has
indicated that premium calculations should be set annually and if there is any
surplus, then the City's premium funding requirements for the upcoming year
should be reduced.]
• Mr. Waite and Ms. Jones will schedule a workshop with the Mayor and City
Council to discuss health benefits.
MOVED by Monica Jones, SECONDED by E1Jay Waite to adjourn at 9:25 a.m. and
schedule the next Trustee Meeting for July 27, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.
Those voting yes: Unanimous.
