HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-5-2006 URBAN RENEWAL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES � MEETING MINUTES Speciat Meeting CALDWELL URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY December 5, 2006 - 5:30 p.m. City Administrative Offices, Conference Room � A special meeting of the Caldwell Urban Renewal Agency was held December 5, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at the City Administrative Offices, with Chairman Waite presiding. The roll was called; those present were E1Jay Waite, Rob Hopper and Leona Fouts. Guest: Jim Wrigley. Chairman Waite called a special meeting of the Caldwell Urban Renewal Agency for the purpose of reviewing and approving a Bond Resolution for the issuance of Revenue Allocation Bonds in the amount of $8,300,000. Jim Wrigley, Senior Vice President with Wells Fargo Brokerage Services Inc., presented and reviewed the following documents: o Letter from Moody's Investors Service o Bond Insurance Commitment from Radian Asset Assurance Inc. o Comparison of Insured vs Uninsured Maturities o Packet containing Sources & Uses, Debt Service Schedules, etc. o Preliminary Official Statement Dated November 22, 2006 • o Bond Resolution No. 2006-1 for Revenue Allocation Bonds, Series 2006A BOND RESOLUTION NO. 2006-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, SPECIFYING AND ADOPTING A PLAN FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER TREATMENT FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS; SPECIFYING THE ESTIMATED COST; AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF UP TO $8,300,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF REVENUE ALLOCATION BONDS; DESCRIBING SAID BONDS; PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION, HANDLING AND DISPOSITION OF REVENUE ALLOCATION PROCEEDS; AUTHORIZING AND CREATING CERTAIN FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS FOR USE OF THE BONDS; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A BOND PURCHASE AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO.
