I. Call to order. Chairman Randolph called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.
II. Roll Call
Members Present. Elaine Leppert, Lorene Oates, and Chuck Randolph.
Members Absent. Elaine Carpenter, Eileen Davidson, Jan Boles, Steve Maughan,
Anita Shore, Gina Lujack and Megan Dixon.
Others Present. Brian Billingsley, Planning & Zoning Director, Rob Hopper, City
Council Liaison.
Others Absent. April Cabello, Planning Technician.
III. Approval of Minutes. Due to the lack of a quorum, the minutes were continued to
the June 28 meeting.
IV. Certificate of Appropriateness Interviews.
A. Case No. CA-148-10 — 1323 Dearborn Street — A request by Boone Presbyterian
Church to replace 17 basement windows.
1) Chairman Randolph opened the meeting and asked the applicant to give their
testimony.
2) Mac McCann, representative for the applicant, stated they would like replace
the windows in the church basement. He stated that the windows would be
single pane and frosted to prevent people from looking into the building.
3) The Commissioners present did not have any objection to his proposal.
4) Chairman Randolph stated that since a quorum was not present he is asking
staff to notify the absent Commissioners and ask if they had any objection to
this request. He thought one week would be enough time to give the absent
commissioners time to respond to the request. Chairman Randolph signed
the Certificate of Appropriateness and told staff to not hand it over to the
Applicant until June 1St

VI. Actions Since Last Meeting
• Chairman Randolph discussed actions he had taken since the last Commission
meeting.
