HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
Meeting of june 10, 1998
Idaho Room,
Caldwell Public Library
The Historic Prese�vation Commission met in the Idaho Room of the
Caldwell Public Library at T:00 P.M.,
Members Present: Tom Ensely, Chris Nye, Jan Boles, Bill Gigray III, and
Steve Maughan
Members Absent: Elaine Leppert, Elaine Carpenter, and Rick Wells
Community Developmeat Staff: Bud Knickerbocker
Call To Order: The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairperson Nye at
7:00 p.m.
Old Business:
Approval of Ageada: A motion to approve the agenda was made by
Commissioner Ensley and seconded by Commissioned Maughan.
Approval of Minutes: A motion to approve the minutes was made by
Commissioner Ensley and seconded by Commissioner Boles.
Time Sheets: Time sheets are being filled out by the Commission
members. It is important that these sheets be completed as soon as
possible.
Change of Meeting Time and Date: Meetings will be changed to the
second Wednesday of the month and will still be at 7:00 P.M.

New Business:
Report oa Committees:
Cleveland Boulevard Committee: This committee will be
presenting information to the Commission at the next regularly
scheduled meeting.
Historic Preservation District Boundaries Committee: Mary
Parsons and Jack Harr will be working on establishing the
boundaries of the District.
Repointing Committee: This committee will be meeting to
discuss the repointing of the mortar on the depot. Phyllis Baxter
has approached the Commission about painting the interior of
the Depot.
Survey Report: The survey should be completed by July 1, 1998. The
consultants will be turning in their information to the Community
Development Department for typing and filing.
Discussion of Preservation Issues: None were discussed at this meeting.
Next Meeting: The next meeting is scheduled for July 8, 1998.
Adjournmeat: The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
