1) DfSCUSSION OF FEES FOR 2003
Chairman Cooper cafled the meeting to order and took roll call
1} Cooper told tha board that the purpose of the special meeting was to discuss the fee
schedule fior 2003. No other business will be discussed; aiso no formal minutes will be
taken, wh+ch wi[I gkve the board rnembers a chance to express theFr opinions freety.
Ron Wrest and EIJay Waite told the board that they felt we will need to raise an additional
$100,00Q per year in order to meet Qur budget and not have a st�ortfall. Same af the items
that require new fiundi:ng are: 1) hire a mechanic to work on the machinery. 2) Ron
Wrest said the course needs an air-o-fier, cost $40,Q00. Fairways are in need of punching.
3) The need to begin plans for a new 18 hole golf course south of Purpie Sage. 4) hiring o#
several new seasonaf employees to wark at Purple Sage and Fairview_ �) Keeping up with
inflation.
A possible raising of green fees was discussed, Purple Sage raising to $18 weekdays, $20
weekends and Holidays. 9 hole rate $12.

Fairview $12 weekdays, $16 weekends and Holidays.
Junior passes would oniy be raised 5 j all other fees would be raised IO%
Cooper told the board that at the next regular meeting, July 17, the members should come
prepared to make a final decision on the new fee rates. EI Jaye Waite said he would bring a
proposed fee schedule based on the figures we have talked about.
