Chairman Cooper called #he meeting to order and took the roll caii.
1) CHAIRMAN'S REPORT
Chairman Cooper asked �enny Stroup to give his report.
2) REPORT FROM LENNY STROUP .
Lenny said his business is good but still down a little bit from las# year.
Lenny said that they had another incident at Fairview where an empkoyee told a lady she
couldn't play because she was wearing a halter tank top. She becams very angry and said

she was going to object to the mayor. She said that she has played in this outfiit at Purple
Sage and no one had objected. Lenny said we need to adopt a standard for both courses.
A long diseussion was held about the dress code.
A motion was made by Larry Rick and seconded by Loraine Navis that no tank or tube tops
wifl be allowed. This applies to men and women.
The motion passed unanimously.
3) NEW OR OLD BUSINESS
Cooper passed out a proposed fee schedule that EIJay Waite has put together. This new
schedule would raise an additional $75,000 if play continues at the present rate. This
schedule does not incfude the sales tax. (copy of schedule attached).
Elvin Simpson made a motion, seconded by Larry Rick that we adopt the proposed fee
schedule for 2003 that EI Jay Waite submitted. Motion passed unanirrtously.
Dan Rowe11 said he would iike to see a survey taken at Purple Sage that would show us
where our players are coming from.
�) REPORT FROM JOHN WATSON
John said he and Ron Wrest had attended a meeting with the Mayor. The purpose of the
meeting was to get everyone on the same page as far as teamwork is concerned.
John said play has been good. John passed out his financial report.
John said he had another check as a reward for catching the vandals who tore up the new
restrooms. We now have $200 in the reward fund.
5) REPORT FROM RON WREST
Ron said he had started making number three at Fairview into a three-par hole. Ron said he
is looking into getting tighting for the cart-shed area at Purple Sage. Ron said that with the
heat we are using a lot af water at Purple Sage.
Cooper told Ron #hat he had heard lots of compliments about the job that he is doing at
Purple Sage.
Larry Rick told the board that he would be stepping down as president of the men's
association. He introduced Pat Inglis to #he board. He said that Pat would probably be the
next president of the association.
No more business, meeting adjourned.
