CALDWELL PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD MEETING
November 6, 2003
The monthly meeting of the Caldwell Public Library Board was held November 6 2003,
in the Idaho room of the library. The meeting was called to order by Chair, Jack
Teraberry at 7:00 p.m. Others present were Lou Roehr; Ann Day; Council liaison Jim
Blacker and Library Director, Elaine Leppert.
Minutes were approved as presented. (Roehr/Day).
Bills of $43,296.23 were presented to the Board for approval. Approved (Day/Roehr)
Business: Leppert gave a brief report on recruitment of a new board member.
Annual Report. Leppert presented the report for approval. (Roehr/Day).
• Building issues. Green Roofing have inspected the roo£ They indicate it
needs to replace this year or next. Leppert was instructed to investigate
heat tapes in the rain gutters.
Public computer management. Leppert discussed the possibility of
acquiring a filtering, scheduling and print management system using smart
cards for the public computers. It is not budgeted for this year.
Other Business and Announcements
Friends Book Sale November 7— 8
The next meeting is scheduled for December 4 2003, 7 p.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
